Chase Bank is a stupid greedy company that doesn’t care about the American Economy.

+84 74 883313.

That’s the number that started calling me at 7 AM this morning. CLEARLY this number is OUT OF COUNTRY.

Anyhow- they called a few times while I was sleeping and now just called again. Apparently, it ‘s “AUSTIN” of Chase bank who is 110% calling from India. Now, I have absolutely nothing against India or the people from there- but holy Eff. It took me like 15 minutes of round about conversation to figure out he was calling because my $300.00 payment was late. It was late by 1 day.And they were waking me up at 7AM to tell me.

Now, the fact that my brain no longer works and I am barely able to remember to walk my dog let alone pay my bills aside, CHASE BANK is probably the worst company to be dealing with. Everytime I need to be talking to someone- I am redirected to India. As Chase is becoming a more popular bank on the west coast, I would like to encourage people to NOT bank with them. Our ecomony is deep in some shit right now and they are charging more and more and giving less and less. They are paying people in India that for a little more people in AMERICA could have those jobs.

Times like these it is really truly the time to BUY AMERICAN and suppose companies that do the same. I don’t have a job, but so many of my friends have been laid off in the last year. They are all WAITING for jobs like that. So- in summation- if I could at the moment I would NOT work with Chase bank. And when my loan is paid- I won’t. Because I think I want to support companies that support us.

And, sadly, those companies are increasingly rare.

Thanks for the info here… Have received 2 calls this morning from this number… No message left. Now I know it’s Chase. I’m going over to my branch now and moving my account. My bills aren’t due until today (so not past due at all) and they’re already calling from India (well, it is tomorrow there I guess.) NO more business for CHASE from me.

Thank you for the info! Thought I would have to change phone numbers. I started receiving calls on 08/28 – I’m one day late with my $58 credit card payment. After it’s paid off, it’s going to be canceled. No more business from me either.

Chase is borderline greedy. It is ridiculous how they run their business. They always try to nick-nack you to pay some new charge, or something you have never heard of in your life. They always find a way of getting into your wallet.

    1) Over-draft/Online Banking

I have had numerous problems when their website did not update itself. I know its the client’s responsibility to keep up with his/her spending, but there are some days we forget. That is what a bank is for, right? To help us keep up with your bank account, WRONG! Chase doesn’t give a sh*t. There were a few times when I thought I had more, and needed to use my card, the next day I will have over-draft fees up to the roof. They don’t believe in putting a limit to overdraft fees. Each overdraft is $35, I got hit once with $105 worth of overdrafts, and my purchase was less than $10 total. Talk about greedy selfish bastards.

    2) Credit Card Rates

WOW! Just, WOW! Anyone that is reading this, and do not have good credit, DO NOT GET A CHASE CREDIT CARD! I started off as a college student in need of money, so I went and applied for a Chase CC. I didn’t know my 29% APR was high. How would I know? I’m just a college kid who is desperate, and doesn’t know anything about rates, like most college students. And unlike the selfish Chase, they saw me as an easy prey for money. If someone is about to walk into a fire, you would warn them first right? I guess they didn’t care to say, “hey this is a pretty high rate for a credit card.” I ended up getting the card. Bought me a nice Sony Viao laptop so I can do homework, blackboard, school stuff, etc. I purchased it for around $950. My minimum monthly bill was around $32, but my finance fees were around $18. I know what everyone is thinking, “Man this kid knows nothing about credit cards.” Not everyone has the luxury of this type of given information as a kid. By the time, I paid of the laptop, it was outdated, and I needed a new one. Sucks huh? I ended up canceling my chase Credit Card and applying for a Capital One CC. Compared to my Chase’s 29% APR, Capital one gave me a 14% APR, that’s still a little high but a lot better, plus they gave me a higher spending limit, which I won’t be using anytime soon because now after experience Chase’s bad bad business, I know a lot more about money.

    3) Auto Loans

This one is very tricky. Very very tricky. I will advise nobody to ever get a car loan under Chase. I am warning anyone that reads this. You don’t know what you’re getting yourself into. Chase customer service sucks. They screw everything up, and they hire unqualified people to do their work. I don’t even know where to start. Their rates are HIGH! It is quite embarrassing to tell people how much my interest rate is for my car loan. Everyone keeps telling me I could be driving around in a Mercedes with my type of loan. CHASE WILL NOT LET YOU PAY MORE THAN YOUR AMOUNT OWED FOR THE TIME BEING. I tried to pay off a little extra, they won’t take it. They want you to suffer the whole 5 years with the interests. This company has stressed me out through my college years. Sucks to try to go to college and have a financial predator hunting you down. I would love to write more about my horrible auto finance experience with Chase, but they’ve put me down under to the extreme. Just know this, they have done enough damage in my life for me to boycott their business forever.

Amen. Same thing happened here. Dealing with Citi bank was much better.

  11. J Wadd says:

Its CHASE BANK i’m 100% sure. believe me they are scum of the earth. thank god I have an iphone with an app that blocks their calls. I have had 285 calls from various chase origins for 2 months now. I’m logging
all calls because i’m going to sue these lowlife scum bags. I got behind on CC payments. I mailed in what I could. When I complained about the incessant calls they said if I set up an auto-pay plan (for 1 year) the calls would stop. I did, THEY LIED !

  12. M Hunt says:

CHASE !!! I have had 167 calls in 2 weeks from Chase. I complained about the calls they told me if I set up an auto-pay plan it would end the calls THEY ARE STILL CALLING DAY AND NIGHT !

  13. gvdunk says:

I'm unwilling to speak to a support person who is not in the USA.

I'll call Chase today to ask if there is a way to guarantee I don't get a foreigner when I call support.

If not, I'll be looking for a new credit card issuer.
