Music is probably one of THE MOST IMPORTANT things in my life. It makes my heart smile. A certain song- at a certain time… a certain song- ANYTIME. Music and mood have such a connection. I dunno what I’d do without my love of music.
I am interested in the top 10 (or so) artists on everyone’s favorite’s list. Which albums? Let’s compile an fantastic list of music NOT to miss.
These appear in no particular order.
Led Zeppelin.
The Beatles.
The Stones.
The Decemberists.
Bright Eyes.
Jeff Buckley.
Bob Dylan.
Portishead.
Counting Crows.
Neil Young.
Cursive.
Clapton.
The Faint.
Oh man. this was a can of worms. More to add later.

I’m having an iTunes dance party alone in bed by myself.
Listening to the lovely Colin Meloy & wondering how anyone can deny that voice! Heart The Decemberists!

LOL! Mandy! You are my HERO!
James Taylor I had TOTALLY FORGOTTEN! He is one of my favorites as well. Hearing his greatest hits reminds me of being a kid at my parent’s cabin and I dunno. That album will always have a place in my heart!
Ray Charles!! YES YES YES! LOVE! The greatest Hits is also amazing- but damn. Man had TALENT.
And it’s OK, I have mild obsessions with ALOT of embarassing stuff. Marilyn Manson? Check. Britney Spears? Check.

My latest obsession is The Black Keys. Meet me in the city is my favorite song, but I really am loving them all right now. Look into it.
