So, pregnancy in general makes it hard to sleep. Add to that the extra worrying and stuff that you do while cooking babies and sometimes you are lucky to fall asleep at all.
Because I am so huge now (at 23 weeks, FML) I am also having theend of pregnancy issues where I can’t find a good position or can’t breath or my back or stomach is spazzing or any number of other shit. Yes, I am a debby downer.
Anyways, last night I woke up at 1 AM with my back killing me to discover that I also could not breathe. It was soooo hot in my room and the heat had also completely stuffed up my nose. I got up to pee and realized the husband had turned on the heater in the room up to like 100 degrees. No joke. I immediately opened the sliding glass door and went outside! Once I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to suffocate I checked on Hudson to make sure he was alive-since I’m pretty sure it was hot enough. He was fine- but I had to keep the door open and sleep with no covers or clothes. Scott woke up and asked what was wrong and I told him that the heater was NOT going to work for me and if he was cold to get more clothes/blankets/get closer to his wife since I am like 100% warmer than usual while cooking baby. He said OK and after chugging 2 bottles of ice cold water I fell asleep.
I woke up at 6 this morning with the same symptoms and sure enough he waited till I fell asleep and turned on the heater AGAIN!!
I think I’m gonna sleep on the couch tonight. Seriously.

i second mandy’s HAIL NO! he needs to be a big boy and put on some wool socks and a sweater, and IF after that plus two comforters he is still cold then the heat can go on at a reasonable level! (-;

awww, I had the same issues when i was pregnant. i was always SO BEYOND hot. My b.d. would have the heater blasting and i would yell at him when he closed the window. i eventually won tho and he ended up getting bronchitis from not being able to have heat/escape an open window in december.
oh well, its the least he could do after getting me knocked up
hope it all works out
