So, yesterday went badly.
I mean, I was totally stoked that it was our anniversary. But, unfortunately (and fortunately) this is Scott’s most busy season for our business. The rain, cold weather and holidays leads people to get things fixed. It’s good for our bills/Christmas shopping- but sad because at this time of year we never get to spend as much time together as a family.
Anyhow, last night was no exception. He got home at 8 with a giant cut on his hand that was basically ER worthy, but he insists that “it’s OK” and we still haven’t taken him in.
Of course, because Hudson and I went out yesterday to get some errands done- I was in literal physical pain. Yeah, maybe I’m a pussy. But, I will tell you- I’m not the first person to be in this situation, but I feel for anyone wrangling a non-stop squirming almost 11 month old while pregnant. I get kicked in the stomach at least a million times a day. It’s not pleasant.
By the time got home I was having a pregnancy moment. I needed to cry it out for a few before I could get it together. Happy Anniversary, Hunny! Aren’t you glad you got home at 8 PM after working since 7 AM to a crying wife and hyper baby!?
So, I was told to go take a shower and calm the eff down. I did and felt much less manic. hahaha. We ordered pizza and gasppp! Scott felt so bad for me he watched Gossip Girl with me on the couch! I was shocked.
Tonight we are trying for anniversary round 2. Hopefully he will home a little bit earlier and his aunt is coming to help me take care of Hudson for a little bit too. So, hopefully I won’t be on the verge by the time he gets home.

Sorry to hear you had a tough day!! I used to get like that all the time when I was pregnant. Still do!! And taking a shower is also what I do to feel better!! I can imagine how difficult it is to have a little monkey wanting your attention all day long while you are feeling tired and in pain. Hang in there! xoxoxxox
