This is Hudson pushing his Tonka Truck walker thing he got for Christmas. He got literally four different things like this- so we made the Tonka truck his “outdoor” toy. He loves it.

Just a day or two of these walkers has really encouraged him to actually walk. He has been playing in the house with some of them- literally running at times- and now his “cruising” is basically him walking. He is still trying to touch the furniture to steady himself but he is barely touching it. It’s more for comfort than for need.

Then- yesterday my friend Howli came by and TWICE while she and her mom were here he was pushing a walker toy and let go. He stood there for close to a minute and then stepped forward! Once he even pivot stepped to turn around to face Scott.

I am hoping for more videos like these and some pictures of him standing and walking this week! I’ve got my fingers crossed he will have this walking thing down in the next week or so!
