The ultrasound tech yesterday told us that the kids are weighing in at 3# even and 3#4oz. Last month I think they were both 1# and some ounces. I am vindicated in feeling 9 months prego since combined- they weigh about Hudson’s birth weight already. But of course- I am hoping they get to at least the 5# range before they are done cooking. 6 would be better. Plus, after the swelling goes down- two 6 pound babies and all their goo may equal an instant 20 pounds off my body!!! Which, let’s face it: is a jump start I need!! I’m up 41 pounds from my pre-preg weight. and that’s 51 up from my pre-hudson weight. Man, I hate exercise so much!!!

great job cookin’ up some healthy little biscuits! poppy came along at week 37, and was only 5lb14oz – she was soooo itty! totally healthy and strong though, and she caught up super quick, porking on the chub and more than doubling her birth weight in 10 weeks! so even if the twins start out on the shrimpy side, i’m sure they’ll do wonderfully. hang in there! you’re doing an awesome job!

I’m on it today. I just have to wash my hair. I am a real honest-to-goodness FRIGHT right now. But, luckily, I am planning to head out for a late lunch which means I have to get somewhat presentable. SOMEWHAT. lol. That usually means I take a shower and wash my hair & face and then give up and put on sweats to go in public. But, whatever. Belly pics coming soon.
