First:
Let’s all notice that while JAY-Z is headlining day 1- DJ LANCE ROCK is on the bill. I would be lying if I said this doesn’t totally make me want to bring Hudson!
Today is little man’s first birthday and just in time to celebrate, he has his very first fever. 102 to be exact! YAYYYY. We had his well visit this morning and the doctor says we just have a virus and that we gotta wait it out. Luckily for Hud-B- that meant no shots today!
He is 19# 7.7 ounces. (8%)
He is 29” tall. (26%)
His domepiece is 17.99” around. (31%)
So, the doctor’s appt went OK, minus the fact that I was channeling Kirsten & forgot the stroller, sneezed some sweet green snot out onto my arm in front of the doctor & upon returning to the car in the parking lot- the lot had flooded and I had to wade through water at least 6” deep to get Hudson and I into the car. AWESOME. Nothing like being sick & soaked up to your knees.
After battling 101 home where the entire right lane and half the second lane was flooded, we are now in bed at home watching Yo! Gabba! Gabba!
But let’s be serious:
THIS IS NOT CALIFORNIA WEATHER.
Yup. Man Down. Usually my husband parks his van in one of the spots that is now a tree graveyard. Good thing he didn’t last night!!

oh, poor things! sorry hud’s official bday wasn’t a happier one. and what’s up with the crazy weather down there?? we’ve had sunshine all week – shouldn’t it be the opposite??

Weather has been out of control. Like, bad enough I am scared to drive.
And Hudson is feeling better- so I am glad. I still need to sleep for 5 days straight- but oh well!
