Yeah, that was sarcasm.
Got my test results back from my doctor this evening. I apparently do have a condition called Cholestasis. Which effects the liver and causes bile to spill into your blood which can eventually make you septic and pose risks to the kids. So, my earlier date of March 9th no longer stands. They are moving me up a week and possibly more depending.
Until then 2x weekly non-stress tests & 2x weekly ultrasounds.
I must admit that I’m scared.
I swear to god I’m not trying to throw a pity party here- but seriously?!
How is it that I get naturally conceived twins when my son is 4 months old. (32:1000) I get hyperemesis (.3% of pregnancies) I am super anemic (No idea on those odds) and now: this Cholestasis thing (1:1000) FML.

Geeze Emily! I’m glad your done after this. Pregnancy is scary for you. I was reading about this last night. I’m scared for you. Can only imagine how you’re feeling. Hopefully they can get t & s out ad soon as they are healthy enough so they are not at risk anymore. Thank god for the Internet and you knowing that something wasn’t right enough with yourself to contact the doctors early. I really really hope everything will be ok for you guys.

hugs!!! The last 3 weeks of my pregnancy, I had dr. appts. 4 times per week. If anything, it put me at ease because I knew that the babies and I were under constant watch and as soon as there was any danger to any one of us, we would be taken care of. So, I took comfort in that. HOWEVER…I did not have any other babies to be taking care of at that time!!! I can only imagine the whole new level of stress you are under because you are already a mommy to Hudson and going to the dr. 4x per week is kind of a pain in the ass when you have a kiddo. So, hugs. And I’m sending you anti-itch vibes. It’s hard to imagine a worse torture than an incurable itch. Is there anything they can give you for it?

Dr says that the creams are basically not going to work because the itch is internal or something! It’s crazy but you are right- almost done!

You totally messed me up with that title Miss! I was all prepared to come over here and congratulate you on NOT having it!
So what does this mean for the itchiness? Did you ask about an antihistamine? You just have to suffer? And what about the iron supplements if your liver is misbehaving? Will this condition go away when the twins are here?

it’s official: you are legitimately allergic to pregnancy. geeeez!! i’m SO sorry you have to deal with this bullshit.
since you don’t have odds on anemia, i’m leaving that out. the odds that you would have all 3 of the other conditions at the same time is 1:1,041,667. i agree with kerry – play the lotto! SOMETHING good has to come out of all this (aside from 2 healthy babies of course)

lol@ Caro. Yeah, this pregnancy allergy is NO JOKE. I’m basically 33 weeks now and the dr said the latest they will let me go is 37. So, within 4 weeks!! Hopefully IN 4 weeks. That room upstairs is farrrr from done, folks.
