Do you have Comcast cable?

We do. Only because I can get my phone, fax, internet & cable on one bill.

It’s not cheap but it’s more convenient then paying a bunch of different companies.

Anyhow, yesterday it recorded part of the Super Bowl for us because we got home a bit late and wanted to rewind & watch. Too bad it recorded the first 45 minutes with no sound and was going in & out of total and complete pixelation. LAME SAUCE.

I called them to complain and they said: Well, your bill was due 2 days ago so maybe that’s why. I was like “uhhh, except every channel except the Super Bowl works. Are you trying to punish me for being late by ruining the Super Bowl?” The less then courteous lady on the phone then “sent a signal” and the problem was fixed. Assholes. We missed 45 minutes of Super Bowl & commercials.

I hung up and sent payment online.

Tonight? Yeah we went out into the living room to watch 24, approximately 10 minutes after it started. We like to fast forward the commercials. SAME SHIT!! Totally pixelated and NO EFFING SOUND.

So, I need to cancel Comcast. I hate them & my husband is really sad because first it was football- but now they have messed with Jack Bauer.

    So i agree, comcast is terrible. I think they have a special note on my stepdads account, because he’s called them sooo many times to complian about the sound and picture issues. Good luck lady! You can always do like me and just depend on netflix! (; cheers!

    I am curious to know why you are having this problem. I would like to help in getting this resolved for you. Do you mind sending me the phone number linked to your account? I don’t think the bill should affect your recordings. I am thinking this is a signal issues. Sorry for the trouble.

    Crazy. I have this issue with our provider too, but they are the only ones who do HD up here so we’re screwed.

    that’s happened to me quite a few times. i find that if i hit pause for a couple of seconds or hit the bounce-back button that the sound comes back on. it’s lame as fuck.
    i hope they fix this cuz that’s not ok!
