I came across this picture tonight & for some reason I just had to share it.
This is my husband & I. I’d guess this was like 1997/8-ish. I just cannot believe how in love with him I was & how hunky I still think 18 year old Scott is & how I knew even then he’d be the one.
And how much he’s aged in the last 12+ years. And how that makes him even better in my eyes. It’s hard to believe I fell in love with a 17 year old boy & watched him turn into such an amazing Husband, Father, Friend, Provider- MAN. He will be 30 just 4 days before we welcome our twins & thanks to him I have a beautiful son, a happy life, a roof over my head-oh, and two more kiddos on the way.
I love my husband so much I cannot stand it. I also kinda want to pat myself on the back for having chose a winner so early in the game. 14 year old me is a smart cookie.

great post, lady! thanks for sharing this little piece o’ vintage scott! ;D i feel the same way looking back at the first pics of david and i – we met when i was only 18 and have been together for 6 years now! like scot, d will be turning dirty thirty this october, and i seriously love him more than ever and think it’s fantastic i realized his awesomeness so early on! sounds like you feel the same way about your hub, which is fabulous!
thrilled for you that you found a man who is a wonderful compliment to you. and you two already know you make beautiful babies!! can’t wait to see what versions 2.0 & 2.1 turn out like!!!
