More than 1/2 way through my 35th week.

And here I am.
Still holding these kiddos up in the uterus. Feeling like I may explode and peeing basically never- unless I’m trying to sleep- because then? I pee every 12 minutes all night long. That’s some bullshit if you ask me, but whatever.

The room for the kids is coming along so well. We are done painting except just a few touch up spots. Sunday night- Scott, his sister Sarah & I painted and watched the Olympics and Monday we enlisted both Scott’s sisters-Sarah & Krust and my friends Lisa & Stephanie (who by the way is the only one of us who can do paint trim.) The carpet is coming tomorrow & my fabulously talented neighbor came over this evening to draw a tree on our gray accent wall. She helped me paint it even- but my dexterity is a bit off and lets say that the paint is less than perfect, but it looks pretty good considering I was in charge of tracing with paint & the wall is pretty heavily textured. “nature” took it’s course & I’m happy with it! :) Thanks Karin!

Friday, Scott & John are putting in the new baseboards & Saturday morning the electrician is coming to install the new fixtures. I’m pretty stoked. Saturday, after the electrician I was planning to head to IKEA and Target for my decor for upstairs. Hopefully, I will have enough money to get a few things. :)

In fact, while taking a break from typing this, I found a changing table on CL that I am gonna try to go look at later. HOLLERRR at saving a dollar! They are selling for $40.00! And according to the link they provide- babies r us is selling for $149.99! YAYYYY.

All I will need to add is casters. Radical.

Anyways- rad. That’s all I have to say. I’ll have pics of the nursery/ playroom by the end of weekend & it MAY even appear done-ish. I mean, it better- otherwise- I give up. NO ONE as pregnant as me should be climbing up and down stairs, painting in small rooms and building furniture just days before giving birth. And that’s just this weekend. Next week? Project SUPER clean house.

Good news though kids- I got approved for this thing at the hospital because I have 800 million kids that I don’t have to pay my co-pay to stay when giving birth!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS.

Sounds like you’re close to finishing everything around the house, can’t wait to see pictures when it’s finished! Personally, I love a good before/after comparison so if you’d show before AND after pictures, you’d make my day! :)
