Family Band?
My dad plays guitar. And bass. And Drums. He also sings. He does all those things pretty well (minus singing- that’s scary) but is not professional.
When my kid brother was little no one ever had to ask him to pick up a guitar. He was out playing my father by the time he was 5. I’d venture to say I think he’s amazingly talented. He also plays bass, drums, lap steels- pretty much anything he can get his hands on I think. He’s 19 now- and is definitely the musical talent of the family.
Anyways, it’s pretty much set in stone that Hudson & Truman will play instruments with my family. It’s important to me as well as my father- and I think it’s probably important to my brother but he lives in Chicago and isn’t around all the time.
Anyhow- without any outside help (except for my brother buying him this gift) Hudson has totally taken to his little drum set. And like a true rockstar- when he’s done he totally disassembles and throws the pieces around. EFFIN’ HARDDD CORE BROHAM.
And how cute is his little Beatles tee w/ white thermal?!?! Uggh. I cannot stand the cuteness sometimes!
Vote for my little rockstar at TBB-

Fun! My daddy is a musician, too – and I LOVE music!
Is playing music only a boy thing? SB should be encouraged to play an instrument as well. Maybe you could be the Partridge family?
She can too. But, it’s important for the boys to carry on the tradish.
Hi Cole!! We have much in common!
ok…yes…TOO CUTE!
beatles shirt for the win!
Awesome! You can be the next Partridge Family.
Totally kidding. Haha.
My stinker’s destined for the family line up too. Much to my husbands great dismay, myself and all of his sisters took every kind of dance (classical and otherwise) imaginable. She stood on her tiptoes today I announced to my husband that it was her first step towards becoming the next little ballerina. Haha.
Oh yes. That’s the plan for my little girl. I scouted dance academies as soon as I found out I had a girl on the way.
