I promised a FINISHED nursery/playroom/office for you this evening and while the furniture is built and in place, most of the decoration/unpacking of crap is STILL not done.
As I mentioned earlier I was out for much of the day & also: I’ve been busy begging my interwebs pals for votes on TOP BABY BLOGS. Heck I don’t need to be #1 or #2 or even number #10- but I would like to find a comfortable spot on page one for the next 3 months. So, vote if you haven’t. And vote DAILY if you already have.
Anyways: Onto the room. Here are a few before shots just to give you an idea.

The little room he’s working on is off our loft and was attic space prior to this little project. The room is very small at approximately 10′x8′, but the loft is connected and has plenty of play area and room to still house my desk/home office.
Which, by the by used to look like THIS:

Yes, we have run a highly functioning legit business for almost six years out of THAT. It’s a wonder I get anything done, to be honest.
Anyways, here’s a few of the more “finished” product- with still much more to come in the next few days.

The view of the room from the loft. As you can see, we’ve put the changing table out in the play area so we can maximize space inside the already tiny room.

A view of the back wall of the room. I love the frames I found at HOME GOODS for super cheap & just put printed scrapbooking paper and fuzzy stickers in the frames as decor.

Up close. LOVE THIS!

Hubs built this bookcase under the window & my sister in law Krust made the curtain with fabric from Ikea.
I have spray painted my rocking chair yellow & it just needs a coat more. It’s gonna go to the left of the dresser in the room so it sits “under the tree” I have more work this week, but will most definitely have more pictures before they arrive.
Hope you’ve enjoyed the little tour & don’t forget to send my lil’ ol’ blog a vote on TBB.

Love it! Got my “before/after” fix for the day. Great job with the decor, I especially love the picture frames with scrapbooking paper! I think I might have to get creative this weekend with a little picture frame/pretty paper project of my own!
The kiddos are going to love this space!

Howli- I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED to see you!
Kirsten: Yeah, the paper idea worked out so well. It’s a cheap fix for old frames too. & Hudson LOVES the room already. Even though he hasn’t slept in the room for a whole night, he loves playing in there. He stands by the tree and touches the wall. My mom said “he’s trying to climb the tree” but she’s kinda crazy. lol. I’m slowly moving everything up there to corral myself w/ the kids during the day to keep the house clean & get work done during naps. Perfect plan!
