This finally moving Hudson upstairs into the nursery is killing me. We have slept in the same room his entire life & I am worried because I cannot hear him breathing all the way from here. Luckily, my hubs took futon duty and is sleeping in the playroom so he can hear Hudson if he cries.
Anyways, here’s some cuteness to cheer me up (and hopefully anyone else needing pick me up.)

ella’s room is upstairs and our room is on the first floor. i freaked out when we designed it this way…and we weren’t even married or pregnant! the first week was the hardest. she went up at 2 months.
i had and still do have a monitor…right next to me at night…and i can hear every little thing she does..move, breathe you name it…good luck mama!

Our daughter will sleep on the floor below us and that’s going to be a tough one. So, I bought a video monitor. Not that this will help me sleep, it will just stop me going downstairs every few minutes…..I hope.

aww, that would be a tough transition! poppy’s crib is right by our bed, and it will be hard when we move her out of the room. i love waking up and hearing her tiny little snores. but the nice thing is, a quality baby monitor lets you hear EVERYTHING – and you could also try the video kind if you still worry about your precious boy!
good luck, lady! loves!
oh and the swing photo melts my heart. love that kid!

Chiquita: Thank you. I am jealous of his eyelashes on the daily. The boys always get those eyes! Us women have to curl and mascara and all that shit. Lame. I will be checking out your blog!
Kerri: I have the monitor- but last night was the first time we’ve ever used it so it wasn’t charged. That’s why I was so scared. :/
B: I wish I had gotten the video monitor. I feel like that’s a good purchase.
Em: Yeah, it’s horrible. I miss him being right there already. It’s sad they have to grow up. I remember him sleeping on my chest for the first few months in a little puddle because he nursed so often- and now he’s running around and telling me “no!” and sleeping in his own room!! WAHHHHHHHH.
