Oh, little girl. What is there to say about Sawyer? Well, she’s not what I expected. She’s not the teeny little needy girl I thought she’d be. She’s bigger and louder than her older brother & her farts are smellier than the dogs. Sawyer is a strong girl. I can tell she will be pushing around all the boys within a few short years. She can lift her head super high and it seems every time I lay her down in the bassinet, I come back to find her up on her side. She is very relaxed when Truman is by her side, but if he isn’t with her she gets very agitated. She literally won’t sleep without him. Even if he is crying loudly right in her face- she sleeps peacefully. As soon as I pick up Truman? She cries. I guess that’s the twin thing? When I look at Sawyer I see Kristina’s infant pictures but also my own. She is definitely more my husband’s side of the family right now, but who knows how she will change. We will see. I also have a sneaking suspicion that she might have blue eyes. Her eyes are so much bluer than Truman’s are/Hudson’s were. I feel like they are getting lighter- but I could be crazy. I think it would be rad if she had blue eyes like my dad & that entire side of my family.

Awww, Sawyer! Her name totally fits her already! And blue eyes are awesome! I can’t believe we have a blue eyed little girl when we both have brown eyes… I am pretty sure this baby won’t have blue eyes! My dad & both of my gma’s have blue eyes… do you & your hubby have brown?

We do. Mine are actually hazel. But my dads side all have blue eyes so I am thinking it could happen.

She’s a beauty!!
When my daughter was born her eyes were blue.
Now they’re green-ish? Haah. Almost an olive color. Love it.

She is totally going to wail on the boys, at the very least she will be able to hold her own against them if needed. She is strong, and it’s awesome.
I Love her GORGEOUS little face, even if I don’t see my infant self in her. However, I do notice the mouth open while sleeping, and for that I will hold my head up high and pass a few winks along her way and take that as our little connection.

she’s beautiful. i love the third picture (i assume she is sitting with your hubby) but you can tell she is just so content & happy; even looks like she has a little smirk/smile on her face.

She is SO pretty awww!!! Everly is all tough like that, and ALWAYS onto her side when I put her on her back. I think it’s a breech thing?
