My hubs isn’t big on the huge romantic gestures. He’s not a gifty kinda guy either. But, sometimes he surprises me.

Like, when he started bringing home forget-me-nots from his walks with the dogs. He puts them in a little bowl of water next to the kitchen sink. I just think it’s the cutest little gesture.
So I thanked him by posting it on our “I love you because” board that is next to the front door. I found this poster at Indie Mart, SF and framed it. Then, I put a dry erase marker with it so we can always surprise each other with little “I love yous.”

It always does the trick. I always find myself coming up with new reasons to write & staring at the ones my husband leaves for me with a big dumb grin on my face.
I just LOVE this guy. Which is why I’m gonna stop blogging right now and go hang out with him!!!

Kelly: The poster is screen printed by some guy that sells posters at street fairs in SF. We just framed it with some cheapy frame.
I also have one that says “I always knew you were the one” just waiting to get a frame for it. Maybe today!
