Yeah, I thought I’d do something EPIC for my 1000th post- especially since April 27th was the anniversary of my bloginnings (That’s blog- beginnings) 2 whole years ago! In honor of both my 1000th post & my blogiversary- I have some AMAZING giveaways lined up for the next few weeks. Like, I am DYING over the cutesness and awesomeness. But I have MUCH to say that cannot wait for my giveaway posts. Thoughts and pictures & updates that I have to share. So, for my 1000th post I will show you Filoli in spring.

I’m sure you remember my love of Filoli. It started in elementary school when we took a field trip to the mansion & gardens. But, I’ve gone back many times. Past visits HERE, HERE & HERE. Last time my stepfather bought Scott & I a membership. Which is super yuppie-tastic & I LOVE IT. I mean, today for example- it’s like rich old people wall to wall over there. They must have thought we took a wrong turn to get there!

But I love it. I love gardening. I love being outdoors. I love the smell & the surroundings. I love taking pictures of the grounds in all of it’s beautiful seasons. I love watching the looks of my kids faces as they take in everything. Even the babies were wide eyed the entire time. These gardens were blowing their little baby minds!

Here’s my two little guys! Tru & Hudson were total angels. Hudson looks like he’s wearing floods- but he total isn’t I promise. His overalls just apparently were riding up in a big way.

That hot chick in the upper left hand corner? Yeah, THAT’S MY MOM! She looks younger than I do in this picture & she’s 30 years older than me. Unfair. She has the most beautiful skin EVER!

Here’s Sawyer & I. She looked adorable today. I was like- DYING. She’s too much. Such a beauty.

It was a wonderful day. I only wish Scott could have joined us.
