Yes, 469 days ago I welcomed my little Hudson into my life. And today? I am sometimes amazed at what an amazing little creature Scott & I have created.
He went to his 15 month check-up today. Just driving home how grown up he is- today was the first time they weighed him in the hall with his clothes on. No more baby scale. I think that made him weigh much more than he actually does- but still.
He weighs 23 pounds. (26%) -At his 12 month visit he was weighed naked & weighed 19#7.7oz. No way he gained over 3 pounds in 3 months! In January he was in the 8% percent.
He is 2’7.5”(58%) tall. A little bit taller than I expected since at his 12 month appt he was 2’5” (26%)- again- 2” in 3 months??? How is this happening!
His head is 18.27” (26%) down from 31% (17.99”) at his last appt in January. Peanut head. Hilarious.
That summed up puts him in the 25.74 percentile for weight/age & the 58.22 percentile of height for age.
He got three shots & through like hysterical tears he said “bye!” and waived to the nurse who stuck him three times.
~But so much more than that is all the leaps & bounds he has taken in the last three months alone.~
He skillfully uses the words “Hi!”, “Bye!” & “up”. We are working on down. Today in the car he says “updow” and I was saying “Up & down…. Up & down…” I’m sure that was a fluke though.
He points to his nose when you ask him to. He points to his eyes and says “eyes” when you ask him to.
He says “Hi Dada” when Scott gets home from work.
He can say “baby”, “Uh-oh”, “yay!” and a few others. He also says “ohhhhhh bdee” when I say “ohhhh baby!” and I think it’s hilarious that trying the two words together makes him fumble.
Yesterday for the very first time ever- I asked him if he wanted his bottle and he said “NO!” (He’s never said no up until now!)
He eats most foods with a fork and can pretty skillfully drink from a glass. Like, not a sippy cup.
He has hilarious quirks like saying “bye!” instead of goodnight when it’s naptime or bedtime. He naps everyday from 12-3 and sleeps 8pm-9am.
He loves to dance & play with water. He prefers a computer over anything in a room & loves figuring out how things work. I often find him latching and unlatching his highchair buckle & he is always fumbling with the car seat latch- I know he’s gonna figure out how to escape very soon. He has already figured out how to open the childproof latch on our bathroom cabinet. Hello, baby Mcguyver! He takes the baby’s pacifiers & when they cry he likes to shove them back into their mouths for them. Cause & effect, kids! He also knows how to turn on the music and vibration on our bouncer and will turn it on and dance when the babies get fussy. He also is FULLY into the show Wow Wow Wubbzy & literally won’t speak when it’s on. Kinda scary- but sometimes it’s my only option when all three need something simultaneously.
Anyways- that’s the Hudson update.

Hudson is rad. Wow Wow Wubzy is one of Milo’s faves too. He LOVES that show. That and the “UPside down show”.
Theyre getting so big. *tear*

Way to go, Hudson!! I’m glad to hear that you are doing such a great job growing up and being adorable. When can you come by to teach Bresho how to eat with a fork? While you are it, could you tell him that all the cool kids sleep through the night? That would be awesome!Love you, baby Mcguyver, keep being cute!
