This is the first day of my life.

A sad day has arrived.

May 5th, 2010

If you have a penis, I suggest you stop reading NOW.

It’s finally come back. Yes- IT. My freaking period. For the first time since 4/20/08. (I only know that because I remember being bummed to get my period on 4/20 when I was trying to get wasssteddddd) Anyhow- seriously. It took just over 2 years & three children- but it’s returned & now? I get to go back to worrying every month until I get it. Being a chick kinda blows. Just a little part of me cannot wait till menopause just so I can get rid of this thing once & for all! I blame this on the (lack of) breastfeeding. But, that is for another post.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has a little bit of worry every month that I’m preggo. I thought I was crazy & weird lol

I was cleaning out my bathroom the other day and I opened the drawer with all my tampons in it and I was like, “shhhiiiiitt! someday my period is going to come back! LAME!” I think I’d rather be pregnant forever (and…well…be able to drink) than have to deal with my period every month again.

Stinky, this is why I’m glad I chose the method of BC I did (mirena). My doc told me I most likely won’t get them anymore…

I have the mirena IUD and it’s like the best thing I have ever done. No pills to forget, No cramps (i always had horrible ones) no worrying and now I pretty much have NO periods! I highly recommend it!

Is it sad that my first thought after my positive pregnancy test was “YES! At least another year without a period!” I would consider having 10 children just to avoid that horrible monthly pain in the ass.

I’m probably gonna get mine tomorrow.. I’ve never had kids and have now had my period for 14 years, with no break in betweet.Gross. That just seems like 14 years too long.
I feel gross today, and now I remember why. Stupid tomorrow. Stupid Period.

I got mine just one 1/2 months after having Henry! WTF? Isn’t breastfeeding supposed to delay that? It also only happened once and has not come back since.

The last time that happened…Oh. Shit.

Well, with Hudson I never got it back & breastfed exclusively & ended up pregnant within 3 months. With the twins, I can’t keep up with breastfeeding so it came back pretty quick because I am just giving them formula now.

Ha I had some killer cramps the other day and I wondered if mine was coming. I’m going to be all “wtf is this?” when it happens. A 2 year break is nice though!
