Happy Mother’s Day!
To my Amazing Mom, Step-Mom, Nonnie, Grandma T, Grandma Sue, Great Grandma Bette. To my aunts & cousins & friends- to anyone to is a mother, or will be a mother someday & to the mothers who are no longer with us- You are incredible.
We as a collective have created the future. That is such a profoundly moving thing. Being a mother is something I never saw coming. I knew I’d have children, sure. But- motherhood sneaks up on you. It is the most boundless love I have ever felt. It is the deepest frustration. It is the purest happiness. It is the most thankless but rewarding job anyone could ever have. We are lucky to have it.
I am so thankful to be among such an amazing group. I never realized how thankful I’d be until I got here.
