OK. Not HERPES. But, a plush stuffed “animal” -a Herpes Microbe. I am one of those parents that LOVES that is OBSESSED WITH finding inappropriate things for my kids. That sounds weird- but I mean these giant plush microbes for example from THINK GEEK or the stuffed turd & pee drop that sit on a shelf in my kids room? AWESOME. I also love ugly dolls & all that crap. So, when I saw these microbes I just knew they belonged in my nursery. Think Geek was nice enough to send me a few microbes to review:
…like a sperm & egg… which are already on the shelf in their room. I mean- it’s how they started! I plan to someday use said stuffed egg & sperm to show the kids whats what when it’s time for sex ed. Seriously. Hilarious AND educational. My favorite kind of toy!
And who would NOT want “The clap” or syphilis or herpes? And it is especially charming when your friends come over and their kid plays with the stuffed herpes & you get to say things like “OMG! Your kid has herpes!!” to which any other parent besides myself are like “WHAT!?!” in a total panic. Then I get to laugh. It’s pretty awesome.
I also got a flesh eating disease microbe, but I gifted it to my blog host, Mario for all his hard work.
Anyways- think geek is kind of the best site ever. They have a ton of fun stuff & every time look through their catalog I have to fight the urge to circle everything & then beg my mom to order it all. (Ok, not really- but I totally did that when I was a kid!) I did however drool over multiple items.

I want herpes. Matt has dry lip issues and I constantly make fun of him and call it herpes (it’s not really, lmao I’m just a dick) but it would be hilarious to give him it and say “you have herpes” and he won’t be able to deny it.
And sperm and egg are hilarious, I could use them for educational purposes too! (And for my own future reference….)

This is the best giveaway EVAR. I buy all my Christmas presents from Think Geek every damn year. In fact, I gave those exact plush microbes to all my in-laws just this past Christmas. I don’t know how my MIL felt about the herpes but I thought it was HILARIOUS.
I think I want yeast, just so if I get thrush again I can throw it across the room or stomp on it to make myself feel better.
