I know most of you already read Pioneer Woman, but THESE are just incredible. I enlarged every photo in the entire series and cried. Thank you to all the Military servicemen & women who fight for our country. Nothing will ever express our gratitude as deeply as it is felt. THANK YOU.

My husbands unit leaves for Iraq in November. He is supposed to get out in January, so as of now he doesn't have to go. Two of our close friends, and groomsmen in our wedding are in the unit and are going though and it has struck something within me and I cry at the thought now. Thank you for sharing, these are beautiful!

Well said Emily, these men and women are not given enough recognition. We put aside a few days a year to
honor them. But they should be honored all year long. Fly your flag every day of the year, and show that we are
proud Americans.

OMG. I have been obsessed with the photos two – my faves are the baby with pink bow reaching for the dad and what I can only assume are a dad and son embracing. I have looked at these photos a million times this week! Aaaaand maybe shed a tear or two. I'm a total sucker. xoxoxoox.

Thank YOU. But, of course I cannot take credit because not only is my post recycled content from Pioneer Wife- they photos on the page were submitted by military families

I cried too. I think a lot of it was the emotion in each persons face…there are no words.
Happy Memorial Day.
Soliders and their families always bring tears to my eyes; I am so thankful for all they do. The courage they constantly display amazes me.

The last one with the Father hugging his son absolutley kills me. I think sending your child into such a scary situation must be the hardest thing to do.
