EXTREMEEEEEEEEE!

By Emmie Bee, June 1, 2010 12:16 AM

Scott & I walked pretty much all Saturday. We set out with all three on foot & this time we brought both strollers. Hudson was in his Stokke (yes, I’m that parent) and the twins were in their little umbrella MacClaren. (Sidenote: I cannot help but feel sorry for the twins riding in the MacClaren while Hudson is rocking a Ferrari. I know that’s weird. It’s clear everyone loved my first child more. Lol. Anyhow we plan to get THIS when we have money- as in NEVER because raising three kids makes you po’ass BROKE! I’m hoping Bumbleride will read my blog & just straight up feel sorry for me & send my ass a stroller!)

OK- end side note!

We walked over to BJ’s because it’s close and it’s super loud 18 TV atmosphere is the safest bet when you are leaving the house with 3 babies and two adults 20 minutes before nap time. Hudson was kinda crabby but ate his food and didn’t cause a giant scene & the twins slept through it. SCORE! From there we went to Petco (cat treats) Old Navy (new jammies for Hudson because Blue is hungry & jammies with food on them in the hamper make an awesome snack & make poor Hudson look like I cannot properly provide for him) Starbucks (bigassFraps. It was blazing balls out!) & finally to Target where we spent $7.00. Our best record in Target ever. Except we bought $7.00 worth of candy. And HELLO! PRETZEL M&M’s!?!?!?!? SOMEONE loves me. I ate the entire (family size) bag in two days.

All this information is totally unnecessary- because here is the part of the story that matters:

When we were exiting the shopping center, we saw this big black truck. Not sure exactly what kind but maybe about a 250 with 4 doors and pretty lifted looking. Rims. Stereo system. Like, you just KNOW the dude driving is the worst kind of douchebag. Anyhow- they had all 4 doors wide open. There was a dude in the driver’s seat smoking a cig. What I assume was his GF sitting in the passenger seat, also smoking- and in the back- another super tatted up dude smoking a cigarette while some girl straddled him and they made out. Like gratuitously.

There was plenty of time for me to really take this in. I was pretty much in awe of their AWESOME. And by awesome- of course I mean full-scale douchebaggery.

They were BLASTING music. And what music you ask? Avenged Sevenfold? Florida? (flow-ridah.) I mean- what are the cool kids listening to these days? Anyhow- NO! They were blasting… wait for it. WAIT FOR IT. JASON MRAZ! That “I’m yours” song. Which is a nice song and is perfect for a wedding song. Not a parking lot make out cigarette sesh.

And inside I thought of how when Harold & Kumar stole the extreme sports dudes’ vehicle & when they turned on the stereo the extreme dudes were listening to Amy Grant. It was exactly like that.

NOT EXTREME.

The rest of our weekend was great. Super relaxing. I took naps. Everything was pretty great except for Hudson waking up in the middle of the night screaming last night. I went and got him and brought him into our bed. That’s the second time in 3 months. I suppose I should be grateful- but mama needs her sleep!

i love that Hudson still wants to sleep with you. Ryan wanted to sleep with us last night, and i was excited cause hes almost 5 and he still likes to sleep with mom & dad. but i wasnt excited because he bitch slapped me at least 3 times while i was sleeping, and he was kicking me in the back all night.

im glad you guys had a fun family walk. they are the best!!!

I'm glad that this was just a story of douchebaggery, for a minute second I thought this story was going way of, and in the other spot in the back seat was a baby. Like everyone was smoking around the baby. I know someone who smokes around a baby and it KILLS me.
