I took these this afternoon to document our beautiful garden this year- especially now that all the planting is done. It’s not so much a tour per-say because I just have a lot of close-ups of flowers & food. ha!

clockwise from top left:
Blue Hawaii, Star Jasmine, Some pink things that I have no idea what they are & birds of paradise.

from top left:
Our beautiful amaryllis, this green stuff we planted that looks like animal tails, yellow “coinpurses” from Filoli, cacti.

From top left:
Lipstick strawberries, Romaine, Blueberries, Red Leaf Lettuce.

From top left:
Passionflower from Filoli, Bleeding Heart from Filoli, These yellow fuzzy things on red stems, gardenias.

Lavender & Japanese Maple.

Cactus from Filoli, Pansies and Dalias and some purple flowers we have no clue what they are, pink Cala lillies.
We also grow many other flowers & foods.
Our foods this year are cherry tomato, beefsteak tomato, chives, parsley, basil, cilantro, jalapeno, Avocado, rosemary, zucchini, mint.
And other flowers we have growing but haven’t bloomed/already bloomed: Hydrangeas, roses, ranunculas, jasmine, Gerber daisies, a few things that I have no idea what they are called.
I love gardening. LOVE IT. Happy summer.

Ah I'm so jealous of the flowers you can grow that I can't! And don't get me started on the avocados – I would eat so many I'd turn green.

Will you please come garden at my house? I can't even seem to keep evergreen bushes alive. Seriously. Everything I touch dies.
Good thing I'm about to take on a human life…

I wish ours would grow this well! Maybe it's because we chose the lamest-ever things to plant. Love the colors!
