Here’s a few classics for you. My next parenting mission? Teaching Hudson the correct times in a punk song to air punch. As Kelsey says: “it’s an artform.” These are a few of my favorite (of this genre) songs- mostly from my youth, although Bear vs. Shark I discovered after high school thanks to my cool kid bro. My next music post?? Totally gonna be hip-hop/rap. Throw some Hiero atcha. Get stoked.

My guy loves Op Ivy – he would kick along in utero. It made me forgive him for also kicking along to the Steve Miller Band. Now, he loves Bad Town. It will totally calm him down in the car and he claps with glee when the music at the beginning starts.

OMG LOVE IT! Fugazi and Op Ivy totally remind me of High School. I felt so old the other day when I was listening to Op Ivy and they were like " It's 1989" and I was all…really? 20 years ago? Really??
Although I think she's partial to reggae Ivy has been known to rock out to some punk as well. Diverse music tastes. She has them.
