Ummm, so the last few weeks I’ve been putting some great songs on here taht I love & Adriana keeps beating me to the punch! Today? She mentioned Jeff Buckley in her 9 month post to her sweet Hendrix & then? I knew who I needed to share with the interwebz today. (Obviously this divorce from the internet isn’t going well!)

I love Hallelujah. I just didn't put that one up because that is a cover. His is obviously the BEST version- but he didn't write it.

I heart Jeff Buckley and him singing Hallelujah. I did a semester abroad in Italy and lived in a building with 3 apartments of students. We would all converge in my apartment's kitchen (it was the largest) and we would listen to music, drink wine, play cards, read books…etc. Whenever that song came on, we were all quiet and just listened. It wasn't planned. It just happened. It was very special.
