Is anyone else DYING of heat stroke!?! Today was HOT AS BALLS. Which is OK & all except it hasn’t been ‘summer’ once so far this summer. It has been downright spring-like. I think the best day we’ve had this entire year was maybe 75. It has been overcast & yucky alllll summer long.
Saturday, as my husband drove me to the Millbrae BART station it was DRIZZLING. Hello, August? Yeah- WHERE ARE YOU!?! I mean this is CA people. Granted, we are in the Bay Area not LA but seriously. SERIOUSLY. One more foggy day & I swore I was gonna lose it.
Can I tell you, though? About 10 minutes into the hot, hot heat of today- I was cursing it. I hate the effing heat. You see that? I just made a COMPLETE 180. I HATE THE HEAT! & I am now sweating in bed at 11:30 PM completely confounded by the fact that yesterday? I was BEGGING for this 100 degree day. I must have been high. Maybe just metaphorically, but High non the less. Because WHO WANTS TO HAVE A HEADACHE FROM IT BEING SO DAMN HOT?! Oh, right. Not me.
I had a crazy full weekend & I have a bunch to post- but I am tired. TIRED. And I need to try to sleep.
Updates on my busy weekend full of no sleep, first BART trips solo, Bloggy Boot Camp & Tattoos to come.

I WISH we'd had a mild summer like yours! In Charleston it was in the 90's in MAY! Then in Illinois it was like 110 every freaking day in June & half of July. Now that I've been back home in Charleston it's been mostly 80s-90s, and thankfully this week has been 70's-80's.
Although, it isn't really like I go outside unless I have to walk the dog or buy groceries…

It has just now started feeling good outside here in KY. I can finally take the babe for walks in the afternoon without fearing that my thighs will start a fire from rubbing against each other.

We had a really rough hot HUMID summer here in NYC but now it's cool and raining and I kind of appreciate it. In other news: I can't wait to wear jeans again!

It Finally cooled down here today- so I got a little over eager and busted out the skinny jeans and boots to walk to the mall for story time..by the time we got out of story time, played and had lunch it was 25 freakin degrees hotter..so I walked home in jeans, boots and pushing a double stroller.

I like people from San Francisco. Guess that's why I married one. He can't stop complaining about the effed up weather either. Just yesterday I was telling him that he is the most weather unhappy person on the planet. Perhaps I was too harsh on him? Or not. We live in Maryland though now and since the seasons actually change here it is a lot to get used to. Personally, as an LA girl, I pretty much just like sun, with a slight breeze off the water (I'm from the beach part of LA). We get nothing like that here, so yeah, tons to say about the weather. Anyway, now that I've stalked your blog completely I'm convinced that it is more than just your contempt of the weather that I relate to. I mean, seriously, people who don't enjoy cilantro clearly also don't enjoy awesome. Just sayin'.

I was complaining about the lack of summer too.
Until yesterday when my boobs nearly melted off my chest.
This heat? Can go. Now, please.
Bring it, Fall.
