It’s 4:30AM & I have been up for an hour. I woke up in a semi-panic because the twins haven’t eaten since like 8PM & have been sleeping ever since. I was sitting in bed at like 11 & thought to myself “well, I should probably wake them up & feed them because they haven’t eaten & I want them to sleep! But I fell asleep & they are still asleep & totally OK. This is the scene most nights. They are not quite 6 months old & they sleep for like 12 hours. How can they do that?!?! And more importantly don’t they NEED food? I am seriously considering waking them up right now to feed them because. like I said- it’s 4:30AM and I am almost afraid to let them go till 8-830AM. That’s like 13 hours without food! But, they are happy & content & maybe I should just count my blessings?
Hudson slept through the night but at 6 months he usually went down at about 10 and slept till we got up. The twins don’t sleep with us so they go down earlier.
Anyways- enough ranting. I am going to wake them & feed them & change them because for whatever reason I can’t sleep.
EDIT: Anyone have any info on how long a healthy happy 6 month old can sleep for without NEEDING food? My google searches failed me big time.

what!? don't wake them up and go back to sleep!! consider yourself lucky!
don't worry about them not eating, when they are hungry, they will eat. they will not starve.
they are sleeping….they are growing….ssshhhhhhhhh!

ha! I KNOW! I don't know WTF I was thinking! BUT!! I did wake them up and feed/change them. Luckily they never actually woke and just slept through all of it. Perfect!! Plus, I totally watched "The Sweetest Thing" with Cameron Diaz & Christina Applegate. That movie is hilariously cheesy!

Healthy babies will ALWAYS wake you up when they're hungry. Tired babies sleep and super amazing awesome wonder twins sleep all night. I hope you went back to bed and got a few more hours of much deserved rest!!

Our doctor told us that around 6 months babies don't need to eat at night and should be able to sleep through the night. I'm sure they will wake up if they are hungry.
