The Red Cross is requesting monetary donations for the victims of the San Bruno Fire. Though you can donate directly to The Red Cross, I’d love if you could donate via the button I have created so I can see how much we raise.
With 10,000 hits per month from over 3,000 people- we have the opportunity to really help. Even if it’s $1.00- I’d like to specifically raise money to help the children affected by this very local tragedy.
Please send anything you can to help these families who in lost everything they had in an instant. I will send 100% of all money received to help my neighbors just a few freeway exits from where I sit.

They are asking that blood donations wait till next week due to the response, so I haven't tried yet.

as you may know I'm at war with Paypal, so we will be making our donations directly through RC. But, know that we care a great deal over this. I've been so upset about this all day. I just keep imagining all the horror those poor people are dealing with.

Absolutely! I will probably keep it open until this weekend and hopefully I can get $500. I was hoping for $1000 but so far there is no way! I am not a very good fundraiser, unfortunately.
