What is there to say?

Well, first I suppose you should meet the key players in my life & my blog:

This is me. I’m Emily. I am 26. I was born & raised & currently reside in the Bay Area, CA. It has been discussed among friends that I am very much like my favorite herb, Cilantro. Luckily, I personally LOVE cilantro. Some people hate cilantro- but clearly- that just means they haven’t gotten to know cilantro yet.

This beautiful man is Scott, my wonderful husband (est. 2005). He’s 29. We have been together since I was a freshman in high school. As I write this- that’s 12 years and going strong. He owns his own business and I work for him from home. I am completely totally madly in love with him.

This little monster is our son, Hudson. He was born on inauguration day 2009. He brings a smile to my face every single day. I am lucky to be able to be a SAHM to this little wonder. Again, totally madly deeply in love with this little man.

These are our unborn fraternal twins (in mah belly.)  They will be making their debut in February/ March 2010 (do the math- three kids in 13 months!) and of course at some point I will update the picture. We are expecting a boy (Truman Joseph Walker) and a girl (Sawyer Jolene). CANNOT WAIT to meet them.

These are our dogs, Blue Bubba & Coco Chanel Nuggetron. (Those are their actual AKC names!) Blue answers to lots of things but we mostly call him “Bubba” and Coco answers to “Gargamel”, “Nugs” or “Cokes Meegokes.” They are Min-Pins and really ill behaved. I vent a LOT about them but love them copious amounts. They are my very first babies, after all.

This is Mr. Kiki. AKA. Kiki Monchichi or MK. His real name however is Bantam Beebee Brains El Guapo. He is my rescue kitty that I got on my very first ever visit to the humane society. He is the only animal in this house that doesn’t annoy me everyday.

Other than that?

I’m into blogging, addicted to Facebook TWITTER, really good with remembering musical lyrics, funny (OK, hilarious), lazy. I try to keep my little house clean but mostly fail at it. I hate being pregnant and am not sure how I ended up pregnant and then pregnant again within 4 months. I have 5 best friends (aside from my hubs and son). I am related to more then half of them. My family and friends are my everything. As far as our parenting style? We take that day by day. We do cloth diapers & glass bottles & when I could- I breast fed exclusively. I encourage my son to be independent- but secretly hope he won’t figure out how much he doesn’t need me quite yet. I still want to cuddle!

I swear. A LOT. Trying to keep that under control before Hudson starts talking.

I started this blog to vent and to update family that is spread all over the US, Canada- even Thailand, back in the beginning of 2008. Within about a month of starting the blog I found out I was pregnant and now, I suppose this is a mom blog. It’s OK, that’s what I am now.

A Mom.
