I’ve kinda gone rouge.

I have sat down & wanted to blog recently but not one thing has happened that anyone will find of interest, I think. Life is boring. And when it’s not boring- it’s sucking- and I realized I had a theme going lately: Complaining. SOOOO not what I want to do. Continue reading 'I’ve kinda gone rouge.'»

Wishing.

So, for whatever reason I decided to visit one of my favorite baby websites GIGGLE today. I registered there when I had Hudson since all their stores are local, but I clearly can’t be so ambitious this time around so I stuck to the less decadent – but equally cool- Lullaby Lane.

Anyways, I got sucked in this morning looking at their UNDER $75.00 gift section and found some really cute stuff.

1_25631_FS_Robot-Backpack---Blue1_25629_FS_Robot-Backpack---PinkThese two backpacks KILL me! But $42.00 each sucks and I think if I got them I’d have to get three. I can just picture three little 2 year olds bouncing around with these on their backs. Adorable.

1_24984_FS_Storage-Bin-Elephant---OwlThis owl toy bin is adorable and I can totally picture it overflowing with stuffed animals in the corner of the kids room. eeeek. But, again $40?! I dunno. Kinda crazy for a small canvas bin. I wish I was rich.

And on the subject of owls- I really think the twins need this set even if it costs $38.00. I had been given this beautiful Dwell set for Hudson at his shower but I confess I didn’t use it much because I was too afraid to ruin it. How Krust of me! :) Anyways, this time I’d use it.

1_26122_FS_DwellStudio-Bib-and-Burp-Set---OwlsAnd last but not least: I love this mailbox set. Luckily, for me it’s 3 years and up which is still a long way off (I hope!) and no use even thinking about spending $50.00 on felt that can’t be used for another couple years. In that time I can figure out how to fashion my own. But DAMN it is cute.

1_26407_FS_2-BIG-KIDS-LETS-PLAY-MAILI love it.

Anyhow- That’s what I’m drooling over today. :/

Help me raise some mooooo-lahhhh.

(for me!)

I started listing some stuff on eBay this morning at like 6 AM because I couldn’t sleep. I got through a few items and I will keep listing all weekend. I’d really appreciate everyone facebooking, myspacing, twittering, blogging my eBay link if you have the time so I can get more exposure for my items!

You can check out my stuff here.

Anyways if you get a chance to check out what is for sale you should. I had to rescue a few designer items from the pile after discovering I have a baby girl on the way. I can only imagine how happy it would of made me if my Mom had owned Chanel handbags! So, now I have to save a few for little Sawyer. But, I am still getting rid of some Chanel, Dior, Chloe and Tiffany’s items which should all be listed by the end of the weekend. Also selling random baby stuff and basically just a random mix of stuff. Even stuff that my sister in laws were going to sell at their garage sale for super cheap! I rescued those items and listed them!

Etsy. The new eBay?!

So, I have been using Etsy for like 1 millisecond. And in that one millisecond, I bought a banner for Hudson’s birthday party, an idea which I blatantly stole from Kirsten, of The McClelland Family, custom invitations for Hudson’s birthday party (score! They were fill in but the nice lady is printing all the info so I don’t have to write it in!) and just now- I bought these:

Beautiful little stackable rings. I got all my family’s birthstones. Garnet for Hudson’s January birthday, Amethyst for my husband’s February birthday and an Aquamarine for my March birthday. An added bonus is that the twins Truman & Sawyer will 100% be born in February or March so they are also covered. My total with shipping was $46.- bucks and I am putting them under the tree for Christmas addressed to me from my kids and furry kids. Yeah, whatever, I had to justify it somehow.

And nowwwww- back to etsy shopping.

5:30 confessions.

OK. First: It’s 5:30 and I have been up for like an hour. For NO REASON. Ugggh. Pregnancy sleeping sucks. So does my SKIN this pregnancy. Just FYI. I am OFFICIALLY putting myself in the bad skin category. It’s payback for having never been in that category in my teen years. :/

But, yesterday, I had pretty much planned to blog 10000000 times and never did. Therefore, I have a few things to share.

One. My son has fully regressed into a co-sleeper and I am not sure how to fix this. It went from one-ish nights a week when Mommy wanted extra snuggles to me having to let him fall asleep then sneak him into his crib. That works- ohhhh 20% of the time it seems. Because we can now add to the fact that for the last week he has woken up before I go to bed SCREAMING and the only thing that calms him down (and it works immediately making me feel reallllly manipulated) is to set him in the middle of my bed. Homeboy immediately goes back to sleep. Now, I suppose the best remedy here would be to wait till he falls asleep and put him BACK in the crib. But, this is where laziness comes in. I 100% of the time fall asleep WITH him and for some reason Scott is unable to lift him and carry him 5 feet to the crib. If I wasn’t already knocked up- this would serve as birth control. I really have to solve this issue and FAST! I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE snuggling with my baby boy- but every night is excessive. Sometimes you need some freaking breathing room. I’m mad at myself for allowing this to happen. I promise to update on his progress BACK into the 3-8 month old who slept through the night EVERY NIGHT in HIS OWNNNN BEDDDD.

lol. OK enough complaining about that- onto more exciting baby news. Hudson has been using a sippy cup for about 3 months for juice or water (usually a combo of both 100% juice and water in a 20:80 ratio) but up until the last few days, I think he was more playing with the cup, even though the liquid inside eventually disappeared. Yesterday, however, he got that sippy cup, sat down next to Dad on the couch and lifted it super high and CHUGGED. I was so proud he figured out what the drill was and I think this morning when he wakes up we MAY try giving him his formula in a sippy cup, slowly replacing the bottle over the next 3 months. That’s my plan anyhow.

Also in Hudson news: He received a letter from THE WHITE HOUSE today. It was a hand written letter from his buddy Barack, thanking him for being alive and explaining how Barack KNEW he’d be the next president. OK OK not REALLLLLY. But, Hudson DID receive a preprinted birthday greeting thanking him for being born and all that from The White House. And, the envelope WAS hand written- so at least someone took time to write it. Thanks to Hudson’s dear friend (OK, MYYYY dear friend) Howli. I’m sure she orchestrated that. Being that she asked for our address last week for the millionth time AND she works at The House of White. But, it’s a definite keeper for Hudson’s baby book seeing as Obama’s presidency runs concurrent with my son’s life.

In non-Hudson news, Scott and I started cleaning out the attic today. We have wayyyyyy too much stuff. Our attic is walk in and probably 250 square feet and it is FULLLLLLL to the brim with shit. Like, I am unsure how so much has accumulated, but it needs to go. So, this afternoon we were able to start with a few boxes. Unluckily for me, a box or two included my lovely husband’s high school memories boxes. I would like to remind all readers here that I have been dating my husband since I was FOURTEEN YEARS OLD. I mean, High School is an awkward time. Anyways, he had an ENTIRE box of letters, notes, cards etc that I have given him over the last 12 years. That’s sweet, right? WRONG! The first letter I pick up was like, more than I could handle. It was like “OMG! Can you believe in 2 months and 3 weeks we will have been going out for 3 WHOLE MONTHS!? I hope we can make it that far! You’re sooooo FINE- I just love you.” Yes, the word FINE is used BY ME. I was literally RED with embarrassment. He had known me like 2 weeks. I was telling him I loved him. SCARY PSYCHO!! RUN RUN! But, unluckily for him- he stuck around and now- he cannot escape! :)

So, we got a few boxes done and my Mom is coming on Sunday to watch baby while we finish that project.

Alright, kids. I think that’s all the updates I have for now.
Today (Saturday) is gonna be awesome and tomorrow I will have a lot of pictures to share! I cannot wait! YAY! Happy Saturday all.

Update just because.

Hudson is drinking his baba next to me and playing with my hair.

It’s totally weird but when he’s tired somehow my hair has become the security blanket. It’s really weird, but I let him do it because I think it’s sweet he wants his Mommy when he’s tired.

This weekend was pretty uneventful. We went to Danville to hang with my parents which was really fun as always and then I watched a Lockup Raw marathon, which was totally awesome but sad because literally all my friends were on a party bus and I couldn’t go because, well, my prego ass can’t drink and would NOT be able to stay up that late. Lame. It looked like fun though.

Sunday Scott, Hudson and I cleaned the garage and I got some stuff ready for eBay from the garage which may not seem exciting- but I can finally actually park my ghetto ass car IN the garage. YESSSS. Plus I made room for stuff from the attic in the garage which is great since well- whatever- this post is boring, I know.

Yesterday my parents were in town for an eye appointment so we got to meet them for lunch and then in the evening Sarah and Steph came over to watch GG. (SOOOOOO GOOOODDDD!!!) Mario also came over- with food!! Plus Sarah had gotten Stephie an ice cream cake for her b-day so that was awesome and tasty.

Today I have a ton to accomplish but of course I have NO ENERGY and will most likely sit in bed for a much longer amount of time then I should. Anyone know of a caffeine replacement for use when pregnant?! I mean I’m DRAGGING and I’m not even halfway here!

This must be your lucky day.

Because this is like my 5th post today…even though we are now into the next day.

I am just really effin’ bored and the pressure in my ear is making it hard to sleep.

I am watching Everybody Loves Raymond. Thank “insert your god or lack of one here” for The CW. The Cee-Dub is THEE place for late night TV. They are responsible for the junk-food TV I fall asleep to every night…. I am still confused how as the mother of a 5 month old I am never tired. I’m up till 3 and then get up at 8. Superwomannnnnn.

A post to pass the time.

I haven’t updated since Saturday, because obviously, I have nothing to say!

So, I will apologize now for the lack of actual content in this post.

Sunday was Easter & we went to Rosemary’s for brunch and then Sarah, Krust & Jeremy came over for some Brandt Kid Family fun. We made turkey burgers for dinner and they were freaking awesome. They rivaled Jeffrey’s for me. Which is saying something since everyone who reads knows that Jeffrey’s are my favorite burgers EVERRRR.

Monday was a quiet night in The Brandt household. That never happens! We actually had no one over! Craziness. So, we made dinner and Scott played COD while I hung out in the bedroom with my little Hudson!

Tuesday, Kelseodeez Nuts came over for the afternoon and we tried to brave the winds for a smoke break…but HOLY CRAP! It was wayyyy too windy. We went to McDonald’s to grab dinner and on the way back we saw the overturned big rig on the San Mateo Bridge! I love a good ambulance chase!

Yesterday, Auntie Krust came and visited with Hudson and I for a few hours in the afternoon. We made lunch and watched TV & did our nails. It was relaxing. Then, my parent’s came over for our Wednesday night ritual. It was really fun.

Today, Hudson & I are just hanging around the house until Daddy gets home. Then we are headed to my Dad’s for dinner with Grandpa Pete & No-na! I can’t wait! Also, today I just got a huge envelope from my grandparents with a bunch of pictures from when I was little! (again!) so fun to look at. I can’t WAIT to scan them into my “childhood” folder on Facebook.

That’s it for now. Back to Scrabble with Lisa Marie. ♥

Facebook Apps.

I have been super addicted to Facebook Apps this last week. If I make another top 5 or take any more quizzes- I may explode!

However! I did spend $4.00 to finish the complete personality quiz (yeah…last night I was REAL bored). It was super insightful and I felt like it may have pegged me pretty well in most areas. It was fun.

Now, off to watch the GEORGE LOPEZ MARATHON on Nick at Nite for the 2nd night in a row!!! YESSSSSSSSSS.

Onnneeee More timeee (like Daft Punk.)

Thanks to www.jamgraph.com for more lolz.
