Father’s Day Festivities.

Today started out kinda different from my normal days. I mean- I went to bed at about 4:30AM. So, when my alarm on my phone entitled “go get Daddy some Starbucks!” went off at 7:30AM? Yeah I ignored the shit outta that alarm.But when Sawyer woke up at 7:30 instead of her usual 8:30AMish? I had to get up. That’s right friends. I got 3 hours of sleep. And I am not bragging here- but I have NEVER gotten only 3 hours of sleep since before I had kids. My kids are SLEEPERSSSS. Maybe the first week home they were giving me 5 hour stretches. I love it when Scott gets a day off during the week. I mean, as self-employed types we have to get those hours whenever we can- but something about a weekday off makes life that much more magical. I think anytime we can break from the normal routine is exciting and fun!

ha. Ok, that was SUPER cheese. But, I do. & I haven’t been actually writing much lately. I have been having issues in the last week. It’s 100% NOT related to my kids. I know my last post probably made it sound that way, but it’s not about them. This weekend was awesome & busy. We did a lot of stuff & now? Yeah, I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open. Friday night our friends The Booyeahs came over for the Sharks play-off game & pizza. They hadn’t met the twins yet & I was so happy we finally got to get together. They were so sweet & not only picked up dinner but brought the kids a little something which was totally unnecessary but awesome! Also? The Sharks won the game. Rad. Continue reading 'In a nutshell'»
SHARKKKKKSSSS!!

You guys!! I went to my first Sharks game last night! It was AWESOME. Not only was it our first date night since the twins- it was my first night to actually have a few drinks since-since-since- well, since like 2008. I’ve been pregnant or exclusively nursing since May 2008!
