I think all people are beautiful. Even if not conventially- there is always SOMETHING about someone be it physical or mental. There is always something in everyone that is beautiful.
Before I had children- I felt beautiful. I did. Cocky- maybe?I felt strong & smart & interesting. I never had a want for confidence. I just HAD. IT. (Thanks Mom & Dad!) Continue reading 'Beauty.'»

So, I dunno if I’ve mentioned this before but I have a rad family. My sister-in-laws are literally my best friends and have been for 10+ years. My father-in-law brings me frozen yogurt pretty much ALL. THE. TIME. I have super fun people on both my dad and my mom’s sides of the family. I’m pretty lucky.
Now, Specifically, we can talk about two things: My cousin Laura- and CARS. Oh, & giveaways too. We can definitely talk about giveaways! Continue reading 'Reviews & Giveaways: Born Lucky. *CLOSED*'»
This is starting to become a regular installment, as EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME Baby Gap decides to put out new clothes: I freak out and spend hours combing the site for fabulous outfits for my kid(s). Continue reading 'Baby Gap musings.'»
Who would have thought?
I mean, when I first met my husband (I was all of 14) I would have pretty much done ANYTHING to avoid that preppy horrible vile everyone-looks-like-clones Gap. I was perfectly happy in anything with a band name (my seventh grade pic featuring a HOLE t-shirt sums it up.) or plastic skirts (ala Cher from Clueless. I had at least 4.) or anything belonging to my mother in the 70s, my father in the 60s or my brother- who at the time was like 4 or 5. There were multiple occasions when I’d wear a shirt meant for a toddler and end up having to CUT IT OFF when bedtime came. Continue reading 'Hello, My name is Emily & I am a BABY GAP ADDICT.'»
It would be to lose some effing WEIGHT but since I cannot start that quest for some time, seeing as we are most likely talking at least MAY before I get an exercise OK from the doctor (c-sections!). So, my first resolution for 2010 is that by the END of the year I will clean out my closet from all the clothes I used to-but no longer and haven’t in a while been able to fit into properly. So, normally, Gymboree is not my style. I have made a few returns there when Hudson has received gifts that were too small. Anyways, I had a left over credit there (like $8.00) but I talked Scott into going in there last night just to see “what was on sale.”
I walked away with two new items for Sawyer (Yes, I know- Hudson & Truman are ALREADY getting the shaft)

Too bad my $8.00 didn’t get us very far. I walked out $50.00 poorer even AFTER my big $8.00 credit. ON TWO ITEMS. Scott was not happy. AT ALL. Anyhow- I won’t be going in there anytime soon.
Rodarte is pretty much sold out at my Target. They had one dress and hella swimsuits.
According to my sis-in-law stuff is already on eBay. Boo.
There were a few dresses I was really interested in, but I suppose it’s cool, since I am huge and couldn’t wear anything for at least a few months anyhow.
