Bleeding Hearts.

April 16th, 2011

They’re blooming. Finally.

I took these this afternoon to document our beautiful garden this year- especially now that all the planting is done. It’s not so much a tour per-say because I just have a lot of close-ups of flowers & food. ha!

Something I Love.

So, I have mentioned in the past my love of Ranunculus. They are my FAVORITE flower aside from Peonies. Well, since ranunculus are in season, I got quite a few bouquets of them in the hospital, and today-

Filoli in Fall

October 11th, 2009

So, today my Mom & Stepdad came over for a Sunday Family Fun Day for my stepfather’s birthday, which is tomorrow. We went to IHOP for breakfast- probably pretty subpar but for some reason it is the only option in the entire city besides Noah’s. Strange, I know. Hudson ate like a pig which is [...]

Avocados & my Lovely Herbs.

June 23rd, 2009

The one in the background there is the biggest one- it’s about the size of a small walnut. These are my FAVORITE herbs. I use them almost daily in cooking and I love being able to walk 5 feet and have very fresh, very tasty, very free ~ basil, parsley & cilantro. I also grow [...]
