Father’s Day Festivities.

Today started out kinda different from my normal days. I mean- I went to bed at about 4:30AM. So, when my alarm on my phone entitled “go get Daddy some Starbucks!” went off at 7:30AM? Yeah I ignored the shit outta that alarm.But when Sawyer woke up at 7:30 instead of her usual 8:30AMish? I had to get up. That’s right friends. I got 3 hours of sleep. And I am not bragging here- but I have NEVER gotten only 3 hours of sleep since before I had kids. My kids are SLEEPERSSSS. Maybe the first week home they were giving me 5 hour stretches. But I want to use THIS as inspiration for Truman & Sawyer’s first birthday party. I know it’s ummmm 8 months away but I had SUCH good luck getting what I wanted out of Hud’s party last year by starting early and spending just a little bit at a time. I spent LESS than I thought I would and I was happy with the finished product. By the time the party rolled around I only had to buy food. It worked out GREAT.
This has me in tears.

This weekend was awesome & busy. We did a lot of stuff & now? Yeah, I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open. Friday night our friends The Booyeahs came over for the Sharks play-off game & pizza. They hadn’t met the twins yet & I was so happy we finally got to get together.
