Every year we go to the county fair with Scott’s dad & sisters. We’ve been going for about 10 years & as usual it was a lot of fun! Truman missed out because he was staying with his Nonnie (my mama) but Hudson & Sawyer enjoyed themselves. They had french fries & ice cream & [...]

Today marks the last day for cloth diapers in our house. Truman got this really temperamental rash recently & I seriously tried EVERYTHING but the only thing that seemed to help was switching to compost diapers. And compost diapers? Well, they are freaking EXPENSIVE. Like, $1 a diaper. So, we had to leave our service that we’ve [...]

OK, WE weren’t exploring- but Hudson? He sure is. It is so fun to take him places & to watch him experience things for the first time. Today, we were up & out of the house by 9. There was Starbucks & Noah’s. It was yummy. We met up with Scott’s aunt & strolled a [...]

I took a picture of Scott pushing Hudson over this bridge in the San Mateo Japanese Tea Garden when he was just about a month old. & now? Hudson points & exclaims “FISH!” Times have changed. Serious. A LOT of change. My oldest? Is almost 2 years old.

9/11/2001. The Tuesday that changed it all. I was 3000 miles away in the suburb of San Francisco I grew up in. I didn’t personally lose anyone. I didn’t lose anyone in the resulting military action. I was lucky. But still? It changed my life. I know it’s trite. Saying 9/11 changed my life sounds [...]
